  • Operating a range of high-resolution camcorders and handheld action cameras for various television and film productions
  • Analysing scripts to prepare appropriate shots and provide guidance to directors on how to film each scene effectively
  • Transporting, assembling and disassembling camera equipment across the country, before and after each day’s shoot
  • Rigging and de-rigging camera systems and patches
  • Using initiative and experimenting to overcome technical problems and create the right conditions for each shot
  • Following artistic instruction from directors and acting upon any feedback given
  • Liaising with lighting, sound and stage professionals to set up and rehearse complex shoots
